Teams

Collaborate on documents, templates and links

Teams let colleagues share documents, templates and signing links, see each other's activity and use common branding. You can belong to several teams and still keep a private personal workspace.

Personal vs team workspaces

Use the Workspace switcher at the top left to move between Personal and your teams (search if you have many). The selected workspace decides which documents, templates and signing links you see, and where new ones are created. The dashboard also adapts, showing Recent Team Activity in a team workspace.

Creating a team

  1. Open your name menu → Teams (or Create Team in the workspace switcher).
  2. Click Create Team.
  3. Enter a team name (2–255 characters: letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens, underscores and dots) and an optional description.
  4. Click Create Team. You become the team's admin and land on its settings.

Roles

RoleCan
AdminManage members and invitations, change roles, edit team settings and branding, and delete the team.
MemberView team content and collaborate on shared documents, templates and links.

Admins change roles from the Members tab with Promote to Admin / Change to Member, and can Remove from Team.

Inviting members

  1. In the team's settings, open Members and click Invite Member.
  2. For one person use Single Invite (email + role → Send Invite). For several, use Invite Multiple: paste emails separated by commas or new lines, pick a Role for all and click Send All Invitations. You'll see the result for each address.

Managing invitations

The Invitations list shows pending and declined invitations. For each you can:

  • Copy invite link to send it yourself.
  • Resend invitation: also gives it a fresh expiry date.
  • Cancel invitation, or Dismiss a declined one.

Joining a team

  1. Open the invitation link from your email.
  2. Review the team name, who invited you, your role and when the invitation expires.
  3. Click Join Team (or Decline).

Important

You must be logged in with the same email the invitation was sent to. If you don't have an account yet, choose Sign Up to Join.

Sharing work with your team

  • When creating a document, template or signing link in a team workspace, use the Share with [team] switch to choose whether teammates see it.
  • Later, use Share with Team or Move to Personal from the item's menu (owner only).
  • Move to Team... moves an item from your personal workspace into one of your teams.
  • Filter lists by Shared or My ... to separate team items from your own.

Note

Moving a template back to personal also moves its signing links, and future submissions go to your personal documents.

Leaving or deleting a team

  • Leave Team: if you're the last admin, you'll be asked to choose a new admin first (Transfer & Leave).
  • Delete Team (admins): type the team name to confirm and click Delete Team Forever. All members are removed and documents are unlinked from the team.
