Getting Started

User Guide

Signiphi lets you send documents for electronic signature, track who has signed, and keep the signed copies, all from your browser. This guide walks through everything the app can do. If someone sent you a document to sign, go straight to Signing a Document.

  1. Go to the sign-up page and fill in First Name, Last Name, Email and Password.

If you received an invitation, the link opens Complete Your Registration with your name and email already filled in. Just choose a password and click Activate Account. Invitations expire after 7 days.

Tip

Verifying your email is needed to use your saved signing details when you sign documents. You can resend the email any time from Settings → Profile → Resend Verification.

Logging in & passwords

  • Log in with your email and password on the Log In page.
  • Forgot your password? Click Forgot password?, enter your email and click Send Reset Link. Follow the link in the email to choose a new password.
  • For security you're signed out after a period of inactivity. Just log in again and you'll return to where you were.
  • Deleted your account by mistake? Log in within 30 days and choose Restore Account.

Finding your way around

The bar at the top of every page has:

  • Workspace switcher: choose Personal or one of your teams. Everything you see (documents, templates, links) belongs to the selected workspace.
  • Dashboard: your overview.
  • Documents: everything you've sent, plus the Signing Links tab.
  • External: documents that arrived through an integration and still need preparing.
  • Templates: your reusable documents.
  • Your name (top right): Teams, Settings, API Keys, Help & Guides and Log out.

The dashboard

The dashboard is your starting point after logging in. It shows:

  • Counts of your Total Documents, Draft, Sent (awaiting signature) and Signed documents.
  • Recent Documents with their status. Click View All to open the full list.
  • Account Information, including whether your email is verified.
  • In a team workspace, Recent Team Activity.

Send your first document

  1. Click Documents, then Send Document.
  2. Give the document a name and an optional message, and keep Build from Scratch selected.
  3. Under Primary Signers, enter the signer's email and name and click Add Signer.
  4. Click next to go to Prepare Your Document and upload your PDF.
  5. Skip or accept Import Fields, then drag a Signature field (and any others you need) onto the page.
